Healthy homemade chicken nuggets so easy to make. Your kids will surely love!
Chicken nuggets are my best friend every time I wake up late in the morning. I just chuck it in the oven and after a few minutes, there's my daughter's food all ready and cooked.
When my daughter Isabella started going to school, I've had problems deciding what food to pack for lunch. I usually had a stock of nuggets in the freezer in case I got lazy. But what happened most of the time was....I got lazy and I always ended up packing nuggets for her. Sometimes nuggets and bread or nuggets with rice, nuggets with some bickie. I even tried sushi nuggets. All these nuggets were from the groceries and I wasn't really sure what the ingredients were.
One time I had a short conversation with one of Isabella's classmate's mum. Her name was Nova. She was a chef and she mentioned also packing nuggets for her daughter to school, but they were her own nuggets! I was so amazed!
After that, I tried making my own homemade chicken nuggets and now I'm so happy to share it with all of you. My Isabella loves it so much. It's just a great feeling knowing the nuggets she'll be eating will be healthier and without any preservatives or unhealthy stuff in it.
- 1/2 Kilo Minced chicken Breast
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Crushed cornflakes
- 1/8 Tsp Ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsps Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 2 Tsps Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Plain flour
- Cooking oil
Mix all the ingredients except the flour and oil.
Form into small rectangular shapes about half an inch thick.
Cover with flour.
Heat up the oil and fry one side for 4 minutes and the other side for 3 minutes
Serve and enjoy!
